    It provides with the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills required to effectively lead teams at GE, focusing on leading & developing self & others (36 hours)

 

  • The 7 habits of highly effective managers (Franklin Covey) - based on the proven principles found in
    Dr. Stephen R. Covey's best-selling business book, this training learned how to: take initiative, balance key priorities, improve interpersonal communication, leverage creative collaboration, and apply principles for achieving a balanced life (16 hours)

 

  • GE Front Line Leadership - interactive training focued on sharpening communication, motivation and overall leadership skills. (8 hours)

  • Digital Data Analyst 200 – 5 day Digital Data Analytics (DDA) course for GE Aviation with the goal to democratize data and digitally enable GE's workforce. The course leverages digital tools, data science & process excellence to empower students to lead GE’s transformation to a Digital Industrial company.

  • Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) 200– hands-on exposure to cost out methods, including: establishing a structured approach to identify and execute on cost reduction opportunities, use the tools (should costing, derivatives, data analytics) 

  • System Design Fundamentals – GE internal lecture series (20 hrs) 

    This course was to provide an awareness and understanding of systems engineering and 

    propultion system, engine, installation, and module design, and instill the notion of “systems 

    thinking”.

 

  • Mechanical Design Fundamentals – GE internal lecture series (42 hours)

    Scope:

    Engineering  Problem  Solving  &  Engineering  Units,  Materials  Behavior,  Solid  Mechanics  -

    KTS/Stress,  Vibrations,  Fatigue  &  Fracture,  Mechanical  Design:  Airfoils,  Rotors,  Structures  & 

    Pressure  Vessels,  Bolted  Joints,  Fluid  Systems/Design/Config.,  Reading  Drawings,  Geometric 

    Dim. & Tol, and Stack, Manufacturing Process: Metal Working,  NDE Technology & Metrology,  

    Metal Joining Design & Manufacture (Weld & Braze)

 

  • Basic Aerothermodynamics – GE internal lecture series (20 hours)

    This course is meant to be a review of basic aerodynamic fundamentals for aerospace engineers, 

    as well as an introduction to multiple essential aerodynamic concepts for engineers/ technologists working in fields closely related to, or interacting with, aerodynamics.

    Scope:

    Derive  Equations  of  Motion  and  thermodynamics  concepts,  Subsonic  Inviscid  Flow,  Airfoil 

    Theory,  Viscous  Flow,  Boundary  Layers,  Drag,  Supersonic  Flow,  Nozzle  Flow,  Normal  &

  • LPT Design course – GE internal lecture series (28 hours)

    Scope:

    Tech  Requirements  ,  Aero  Design,  Engine  Dynamics,  Materials,  Airfoil  Materials,  Airfoil 

    aeromechanics,  LPT  blade and  nozzle distress  modes  &  analysis,  Rotating  parts  design, Stator fundamentals, Shafts & splines, Secondary Flows, Test validation/Instrumentation, Certification/ FAR testing

  • JETS@EDC - Jet Engine Teardown School - classes on CT7 engine (16h)

  • Export Control tagger - certified

 

  • GD&T in ASME and ISO standards – theory and practice (16 hours)

 

  • GD&T Pro Trainer Fundamentals Complete Course - a self-paced on-line course providing detailed GD&T Fundamentals training via 28 content rich modules filled with interactive excercises and quizzes (30 hours)

 

  • Siemens CAD3 NX7.5 – NX Design for the Experienced users (40 hours)

 

  • Familiarization with APU 2300, 3200, 5000 – one week workshop training in Hamilton Sundstrand Power Systems – San Diego
